Bharath Alamanda

Bharath is a research associate at Viscap Funds. He will assist with market research in the space of socially responsible investment and contribute to advance the overall mission of Viscap. Currently, Bharath is a sophomore at Princeton University and intends to major in Physics. Coming from Tampa, Florida, he graduated from Sickles High School in 2009. His previous research experience includes working for the Princeton University physics department and interning at the Florida State University particle accelerator lab.

At Princeton, Bharath is involved in the publication Business Today, the club tennis team and local community service programs. In his spare time, he enjoys playing intramural sports and following current events.


Fallon Atta-Mensah


Fallon Atta-Mensah is currently a student at Princeton University. She intends to earn a degree in Politics with a focus on American Politics and a certificate in African-American studies.

Since she left high school, her studies have taken a focus towards environmental sustainability and education policy.  Learning about policy issues in the environmental and educational fields has been very satisfying. It is through these courses that she has obtained a strong interest in corporate social responsibility and accountability issues. She is currently hoping to further her career in environmental law.

At Princeton, Fallon has been very involved in many organizations. She is Captain of the university’s first and only step team, HighSteppers, a member of the Black Arts Company dance team, a member of the Cap and Gown Club and the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority.

Fallon is very excited to join the VisCap team and is looking forward to all the great work that will be done!



Jake Gao

Jake Gao


Jake is a student at Princeton University, where he intends to earn a degree in economics and a certificate in urban studies.

Jake is deeply passionate about environmental sustainability and corporate responsibility, and he is very interested in how businesses can integrate sustainability with their strategy. He strives to help businesses to treat environmental and social challenges as opportunities to find innovative, positive, and pragmatic solutions that result in responsible strategies and practices.

As a high school student at the Albany Academy, Jake composed an essay about transforming the capital of New York into a sustainable community and was awarded first place in the American Planning Association’s national high school essay contest. He interned at Omni Housing Development, a company that works with the Albany Housing Authority on the South End Revitalization Project to build sustainable and affordable housing in Albany. He also gained experience in finance from his internship at Morgan Stanley in Albany.

Jake is very excited to join VisCap. He hopes to work with and learn from the team to bring about responsible business.


Erica

Adrian Howe

Adrian is a veteran of the business development and communications fields, with extensive experience in both the private and non-profit sectors. After earning a bachelor's degree in History at Princeton University, Adrian joined the business development team at a prominent law firm in Washington D.C., serving as the logistical coordinator for over fifty new business clients. He recently returned from a fellowship in Uganda where he spent six months coordinating the communications and business relations for a local NGO, including developing plans for a state-of-the-art international high school in Kampala for marginalized children through a global fund-raising campaign. Adrian joined VisCap to direct the company’s commercial outreach via partnerships across multiple industries.


Raymond Hsu

Raymond Hsu


Raymond Hsu comes to VisCap from Princeton University, where he is a rising senior in the politics department. He is especially interested in political socialization as well as military policy. Raymond has experience with internet entrepreneurship and will be assisting with market research of prospective clients and investors this summer.

He is excited to learn more about VisCap’s focus on socially responsible investment as well as its overall business model. A native of Chicagoland, Raymond enjoys being an armchair quarterback in his free time.



Akarshan Kumar

Akarshan is a rising sophomore at Princeton University, NJ. Hailing  from Delhi, India - one of the greenest cities in his country, he  realizes the importance of sustainable and green growth.

As a research associate with VisCap, he will help research and study  green companies. For him, it's a completely new experience and he  can't wait to dive in.

An articulate speaker on the Princeton Debate Panel, Akarshan loves  participating in inter-college debates, and helps organize the two  annual debates hosted by Princeton.As a member of the International  Relations Council, he helps organize the two annual Princeton Model UN  Conferences and participates in Model UN conferences at other  universities. On the board of SASA, the South Asian Students'  Association, he helps organize events which promote Indian culture - a  culture he dearly loves.

 



Bilesh Ladva

Bilesh Ladva


Bilesh is interested in social entrepreneurship and investigating how socially responsible businesses can appeal to a wide range of investors. Furthermore, he is interested in how investors currently view socially responsible businesses. He is also interested in gaining significant entrepreneurial experience.

He is currently a rising senior at Princeton University, majoring in Economics and gaining a certificate in Political Economy. At Princeton, he is Treasurer of Princeton Environmental Action, a student group designed to address issues of environmental concern.

In addition, he is an Outdoor Action leader and has led incoming Freshmen camping for several days. He is also a member of the cycling team and former president of the juggling club. Furthermore, he holds a Culturally Cap co-chair position at the Cap and Gown Club, Princeton.

After interning with a financial adviser at Ameriprise Financial, he is looking change paths and gain experience in the world of social entrepreneurship. Therefore, he is very excited about interning with VisCap this summer.
