Erica Duignan Minnihan

Erica Duignan Minnihan is a Director with VisCap, where she works with a variety of early stage companies providing expertise as a consultant for building corporate value, equity fundraising and general capital strategy.  In addition, she is a regular on-air contributor to MSNBC’s “Your Business” as a financial and business expert.

Erica Duignan Minnihan is also the founder of her own start-up, Mamatini, a beverage company that produces products for moms focused on healthy lifestyles.  Mamatini is helping to increase the number of women reaching the important social health goal of breastfeeding for at least a year, by helping women breastfeed better, easier and for longer.

Previously, Erica Duignan Minnihan was the Executive Director of Golden Seeds, an early stage investor group with offices in New York City, Boston and San Francisco, where she managed deal sourcing and screening, due diligence, and investment processes for the group.  In this role she developed her understanding of capitalization strategy for early stage businesses while managing the execution of 17 investments in 15 different early stage portfolio companies.  Prior to joining Golden Seeds, Erica has held a variety of roles in the Investment Banking sector, working for firms including Cantor Fitzgerald, Citigroup and Credit Suisse. She received her MBA in finance and real estate with honors from Columbia University and a BA in Business Economics from the University of California at Los Angeles.

Patricia Omoqui

Alex Salzman

Alex is a determined social entrepreneur. He has applied his drive to do well, by doing good, at ventures in consumer products, advertising, new media, and socially responsible investment.
 
While earning a degree in Economics at Princeton University, Alex took a leave of absence to assist with the launch of TerraCycle, Inc. (www.terracycle.net), a company producing products derived from and packaged in waste.

Shifting his focus to media, Alex co-founded international cause marketing agency, Blue Horizon Media, in 2005. The agency gave birth to Rethos, Inc, (www.rethos.com) a network of social media sites devoted to uniting individuals, non-profit organizations, and socially responsible businesses on solutions to social and environmental issues. In 2008, Rethos was acquired by Parta (www.partaworld.com).

In 2009, Alex founded VisCap (www.viscapfunds.com), a ‘sustainable’ private equity platform advising on, and managing, capital and intelligence amongst investors and owners/operators of companies with commercial value derived from benefits for society/environment.
